Overview
The iRiS Personal Valet TM is a guest facing software-hardware
solution, designed to revolutionise the interactions between guest and staff in
the hospitality industry. The system brings together a solid, multilingual content
platform with seamless connectivity to mainstream PMS systems, in-room control networks
and other third-party service providers.
Prerequisites
Although the components of the system operate in an enclosed manner, there are a
number of requirements before devices can be installed:
- The property must have an existing CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet network or be flexible
enough to allow for Ethernet over co-axial, for example
- The network must provide access to the Internet, although this can be firewall protected
- The network firewall must provide selected access on service-specific ports
