A new business alliance has been signed between iRiS Software, of Bushey, UK, the specialist hotel in-room technology company and Hospitality Partners, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA, the leading provider of innovative solutions to hotel's technology needs handling every aspect of event planning and production. The iRiS PV is a logical extension of Hospitality Partners product range as it has state-of-the-art technology, highly visual, a luxurious, quality feel and a real practical function for guest service.
The iRiS PV expands Hospitality Partners solutions from primarily within the function and conference arena into the wider market of in-room services. From iRiS Software's perspective the partnership is an equally good fit in that the USA was a prime target for appointing a business partner to capitalise on the huge interest generated late year and HITEC and other events.

The iRiS PV is designed primarily as a communications device - for in-room communications to front-desk, room-service, and 'room-to-room'. It is also an information service with connections to data-feeds from the Internet, for real time local weather, travel news, and information on local services such as shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and taxis. The device also controls room energy management for lighting, curtains, central heating, etc. The iRiS PV has been designed to be a luxury-class product compatible with the highest quality room decor. It is also portable, wireless, touch screen and handles multi-lingual text.
