personalise my stayTM

Enables the guest to make specific personal requests just for them. Set their “home” time, if they want the same breakfast for the duration of their stay they can, order a newspaper for the duration, set a constant wake up call time, order a regular taxi or even an automated “do not disturb” for that well earned lie in. This benefits the hotel by enabling them to be more efficient, better use of resources, offer a better service to their client. Also will enable the hotel to have this information on file for future visits from this guest as well as get an understanding of buying patterns.

multilingual

iRiS Personal ValetTM will offer all the on screen facilities in a variety of languages. The Hotelier can set up the primary language to receive requests for its staff and the guest can ask PV to communicate with them in their preferred language choice.

two-way communications between guest and hotel staff

PV offers two way communications for essential information between guest and hotel staff. Whenever a request is received by the staff they will “ping back” a message to the guest via their touch sensitive display panel.

dual time zone clock

Global travelling means crossing into many different time zones. PV will allow the guest to set their “home time” zone as a separate display that runs in tandem with the local time display.

weather check

It’s not always easy to tell how warm or cold it is outside when you’re happily ensconced in your temperature perfect hotel room. PV’s simple weather check will give an up to the minute weather guide so the guest knows what to expect when they leave the hotel.

live airport information

PV will offer a live feed from the local airport into the guests room so they can keep track of important arrival or departure information.

view my bill

The guest will easily be able to keep track of what the current total bill is for their stay as well as a break down of the individual costs of what has been ordered during their time with the hotel. A clear and transparent offering so the guest is comfortable with their bill.

advertising space

The PV system will allow advertising space to be sold on areas of the screen as well as all the local attractions/restaurants & bars that are listed can be sold to the local establishments to create further revenue streams for the Hotelier.

interactive “back room” displays

An integral part of the PV solution is the back room displays for the hotel staff. These can be various sizes of touch sensitive, splash proof, LCD displays. They will display the requests that come from the guests in incremental order and give the staff the ability to “ping back” key messages to the guest.

managers' PDA Valet

iRiS will install special bespoke software onto a PDA for the Hotel Manager so at any time he/she can analyze the current situation in regard to guest requests. He/she will be able to see what’s “hot”, clearly this will increase efficiency and improve the use of resources.

data tracking and reporting

Through the use by the guest of the iRiS PV the Hotelier will be able to monitor the usage of the device by each individual guest. This will both give an idea of guest habits as well as being able to record the individual guests preferences and desires. This can later be used to hone a 1-1 marketing strategy for each guest to increase the personalisation of their subsequent visits to the hotel. This will improve the quality of the stay for the guest and enhance the likelihood of loyalty towards that hotel.

‘up’ and ‘cross’ selling

When the guest is using the PV for room service this will give the Hotel an ideal opportunity to offer other products and services with a view to up selling or cross selling.

reduce costs when updating room menus

If the hotel wishes to update its in-room menu offerings book this can be both costly in human resource and financials. With the iRiS system the Hotelier only needs to send a list of the required updates to iRiS HQ via Dashboard and we will deliver the updates for them, and take care of all the translations in the process, all via VPN.
